by fiveten is a design studio based in Beirut, Lebanon. We decided to brand our own studio seeing as we were most likely to understand what our client needs. The emblem was designed to be a strong gesture yet minimal in composition. It is a combination of the letter b (for by), and the numbers 5 and 10 in both Arabic and English. The letter/numbers can be read clearly as the emblem is rotated, while it maintains its abstraction when static. Black and white are the colors chosen for the identity, seeing as we wanted to shed light on the projects themselves instead of the studio behind them.
